It says her roommate called the police and reported the encounter as rape which initiated the police investigation.
Also, the same video says a judge dismissed the charges after he watched the video of them in and leaving the bar.

The kids were talking about what they would do if something like that happened at their school and he said that he would shoot the person, which is stupid because he wouldn't have a gun to do it with. I'm sure that he was just trying to impress the girls and sound cool but they ratted him out.

I don't know about that. Some of the shots from the video look like he really doesn't want to be making out with her in the bar, you reverse the roles of who is being aggressive and that video is used as evidence against him in his rape trial
