As many have said our early detection and warning systems are the primary defense system. NORAD and such would see anything approaching with more than enough time to scramble interceptors.
A few high profile targets probably have more dedicated defenses. At one time there was a SAM battery on top of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building protecting the airspace over the White House. I assume it's still there or somewhere close by.

So you think we can just move some carriers etc take a dictator without losing 1 person in the op and you are worried about air systems? The US is an island. We have been setting up defense systems before the other countries let us rebuild their countries for them.
Right now SA has to be think wtf. They have never seen anything like that and I doubt anyone wants anymore then just the tip. Trust me.
I said this repeatedly, this isn’t war as much as it is a humanitarian crisis if they piss us off.
You’ve seen Russia and Ukraine in action. Impressed? I’m not.
All this op did was further prove our superiority and got some special forces guys a hardon.
