1978 Jeep Cherokee Chief S with Levi's package. An unstoppable 4WD. Had it while I was in college and used it as a daily driver and for hunting. Was a great vehicle and when I see old ones for sale now on auction sites makes me wish I had kept it. Have had a lot of 4WD vehicles but that one was the best I ever had.

We had those rangers on the catfish farm. Great trucks. Usually full size trucks ,due to the rough road conditions on catfish farms and the types of employees who drive them, don’t last 200k miles without falling completely apart. Some of those rangers made it 400k miles. Blew my mind

it really was a little tank of a truck that could keep going. back when you could also work on things yourself. we just got a 2013 dodge ram for my son and i was genuinely excited at the engine because it reminded me of the simplicity of that ranger engine. my wife's traverse is a freaking PITA. i've always prided myself on changing my own oil and car upkeep, but that thing was a nightmare and i'm fine paying somebody to do it. the ranger was a 15 minute process.

when we were shopping for the ram we saw some rangers and tacomas that drove better than some way newer cars. i really was trying to push him to a ranger, but there's no way my family would deal with the seating in the back of that nowadays.

the most tempting one was a 2000 frontier with only 60k miles on it for $11k.

it rode pretty hard and had absolutely 0 feature updates reminded me of that ranger a bit.

You will not be disappointed in the quality and fit when you are done. He did my seats 10 years ago and they still look brand new.
Rebuilt my trail arms and driveshafts a couple months back. it all went smooth.

2003 Mitsubishi Evo 8. Pretty sure they are going for more now than what I paid new. Yep, 40k plus for a lowish mileage example.

Good to hear, I'm still riding on original seat covers an foam. Surprisingly no rips/tears, just foam giving out. New AK carpet going in as well.

Man that's a laborious job. I bought new offset TAs around 2008 from VB&p and appearantly they used poor quality poly bushings and I suspect are now cracking. I'm debating going back with rubber or welding in a heim joint.

I went back with rubber bushings. Too many stories of premature cracking and a harsh ride with the polys. I think todays rubber bushings are a better quality than what was available at that time ('60's) and mine is not a track car so any gains with the polys offer no extra value for me.

Also, the orange '69 ZL1 (Gulf Car) is coming up for auction later this month. Will be interesting to see what it brings considering the questionable authenticity of it.

In 05' we traded in a 4 Runner on a Ford 500 because my the kids double stroller didn't fit in the back. Worst car decision we ever made.

I also had a 1996 Integra GSR. Green four door. I still have the engine, it's eventually going into a 1966 Mini

The B18C was a great engine. I swapped the block with a B20B from a Honda CRV and milled the GSR head to match the larger cylinders. The greater displacement gave it monster torque those cars weren't meant to have.

It was a whole hell of a lot of fun to drive.

This one is easy for me. Had a 1961 Willys Utility Wagon. Looked about like this, including the PTO winch:
