My first car was a 1990 Nissan 240SX, black, rear wheel drive with a 5 speed. Fun car to drive, should have kept it and built it out for drifting.

'72 Dart Sport in nearly mint condition I bought off some dumb college kid for $800 in 2010-ish. Had a slant 6 in it that you couldn't kill even if you ran it dry of oil, but boy that thing was sloooooow. Fired up and ran/drove reliably every time though.

'94 Ford Explorer 4x4 with a 2 inch lift - was my first car in 2002 and was in near perfect condition, mechanically one of the best vehicles I've ever driven

2006 Volvo S60-R - great looking car that had 300hp and AWD, was a blast to drive and fairly easy to maintain as it was a turbocharged inline-5. Had no idea how rare the R-type was around Arkansas when I got rid of it, thought I'd eventually get a newer version of it. It was a tank that murdered two deer at once without even taking a dent, and could be driven in any weather conditions.

2013 Challenger R/T I traded in the previously mentioned Volvo to buy brand new. The car was incredible and beautiful, until I totaled it in a head-on collision that wasn't my fault

but a friend sold it to me for $2000 in 2004 and i did not have a single problem with this thing from 2004-2012.

We had those rangers on the catfish farm. Great trucks. Usually full size trucks ,due to the rough road conditions on catfish farms and the types of employees who drive them, don’t last 200k miles without falling completely apart. Some of those rangers made it 400k miles. Blew my mind

Friend had one of those in high school. We would sneak out to go to parties. He had true dual straights no cats on it, had to put it in neutral and push it 3 blocks before starting it up because it would wake up whole neighborhood

That thing was obnoxiously loud

Had an '03 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. Solid as a rock. Loved that truck.

Sold it because a job change forced me on the road, and 14 mpg wasn't cutting it.

It had 186K miles on it and didn't have the first rattle or squeak. Great little truck.

1986 Honda ATC 250R. Third most dangerous thing I have ever sat on. Would pass cars at ease on the highway.

Oof yea that’s one I would want back

I bought it from the original owner for $550. It had 78000 miles. It needed about $400 worth of work when I sold it (but at what I was earning at the time, it might as well have been $4000). I researched the car to see if I could buy it back - it was crushed.

My 1996 Acura Integra GSR. Sold it to get an SUV when I got married. I'll regret it till the day I die.

93 Probe GT.

Most fun car I've ever owned, which isn't saying much, but still, it was a blast.

Had the same car in Rio Red with a 5-speed. My dad bought it new when I was a sophomore in high school, I inherited it in 1997 and drove it until 2003. I've owned much faster cars and higher end cars. Still that car stands out as it hit the perfect balance of everyday usable sporty fun.

I sold it off with 140,000 miles, and at that point it was pretty tired; but I still miss that thing.

Every time I haul scrap metal to the yard off the farm I see an old car being dropped off to be crushed and it makes me irrationally angry. If it’s not totaled from a wreck don’t crush it. Someone will buy it to restore it. Probably for more than the 3-500 bucks you get from the scrap yard

ETA not usually a high demand muscle car or anything. I’m talking about other cars that were regular drivers. Like 80s square body chevys, 70s Cadillacs, 90s tahoes, etc
