Yep. These same people saying she already has enough money are probably the same type that are all about capitalism. Interesting that it's different in this case.

Lawyers gonna make that money. They take from others worse than the government

There is a growing number of people waiting on their lawsuit payday in this country. I guess Lamar shareholders rejoice.

Yes. I'm sure Vanessa Bryant was eagerly awaiting this day.

Pilot’s dead too. Gonna go after the money of his surviving family who is also grieving and likely has a lot less of it than Vanessa? Weak sauce. Besides, that dude didn’t fly unless Kobe told him to. Just terrible look by Vanessa.
The money wouldn't come from the pilot's estate. It would come from the company that owned the helicopter.

Yep. Company should have never given the go ahead for the flight.
According to pilots you don’t know the local weather of a schools field you’re going to land on so you go take a look.
There was nothing wrong with taking off. The pilot should have aborted near their destination though, obviously.

Some of y'all don't understand how insurance works
So you're saying the suit won't have an effect on the company? How does the policy work?

Not at all

The insurance company is probably requiring it, because the Bryant estate is probably about to get sued as well.

What, she doesn't have enough money with what Kobe made during his career and made in investments????
You do know that money isn't the only reason to sue someone right?

How bout kobe order a limo when he saw it was foggy?
He put his child in the helicopter not the pilot.

They had clearance to take off.
Posted on 2/24/20 at 2:37 pm to LSUintheNW
Did they have clearance to land?

Where are the TD lawyers? If she's willing to sue with millions of dollars, I'd say she wants to hold who is accountable for this. Definitely has all the power now. And doesn't need any money. She may even have life insurance.
Posted on 2/24/20 at 2:58 pm to LSUintheNW
Yeah but the pilot should have used good judgement to know better than to try and fly in that fog.
Posted on 2/24/20 at 2:59 pm to adp
She is suing in order assign blame away from Kobe so that way his estate is protected. In other words, she is protecting her money from any potential lawsuits aimed at Kobe.

Obviously. Everything was fine til the pilot went into IMC.

You would have to ask the owner of the ball field they were going to land on.
He’s dead now so we can only assume Kobe had clearance to land on his school’s property.
