Valero explosion in Da Parish... here come the lawyers

Early Friday morning, there was a small explosion at the Valero Meraux Refinery. At the time, it was loud as a SOB and could be felt miles away. Scary to be sure. They got it quickly under control, and with a couple of hours, the fire was out. Woke a lot of people up, and after a few tense moments, everyone went back to bed. Life goes on.
I heard one person was hurt and pray for their recovery.
And so, here come the attorneys.

Look, by all means, if someone suffered damage or injury, they should be taken care of. But "inconvenience or anxiety", are you F'n kidding me? Can I be compensated for the 90 min of sleep I lost? What a joke.
I would love for some of the attorneys on the O-T to take a look at this website and tell me how any of this is anything but an insane fishing expedition and a get-rich scheme for the involved attorneys.
If you click on the claim form, they have under physical injury such things as "elevated heart rate" and under personal injury they have "fear/fright".

Lawyers like these are why you have all of this "lockdown" crap now. Everyone's more worried about CYOA instead of doing what's best for all concerned.

What "involved attorneys" are responsible for this site? I don't see any mention of them. That, in itself, would seemingly be a violation of the ethics rules if the wesite is a means of signing up clients.

Attorneys like this are the bane of society and one of the biggest problems that this society needs to fix. Unfortunately that would take legislation, which would require laws, and since legislators don't understand the concept of legislating laws out or legislating simplicity, and since so many legislators are attorneys themselves, then all we'd wind up with is more laws that won't fix anything except to further put in "the fix" for lawyers.
As far as the lawyers in the OP, I put them on the same level as road kill on a busy interstate as far as how much I and most others think of them. They are as low as the mud on the abyssal plains. They are roaches, and they are an impediment to progress, economics, ergonomics, and efficiency.
I'd be mortified to know that on my dying day my reputation and the respect that I received from men (or the lack thereof) who are studying my contributions would be like that of these attorneys: People will look on and shake their heads at the piece of shite life that these men lived. When the attorneys like in the OP are dead and gone, they can be sure that everyone thought of them like this: they forged their way on the backs of actual contributing members and enterprises of society and preyed on people who are, many times, ignorant and living on the edge of poverty. If I could describe their legacy in one word it'd be, "frivolity."
They are silly little people.
I hate what they are and what they contribute as much as I hate a career politician. They can all go to hell.

It’s not the attorneys fault. They are just the players. The problem is the game. These types of attorneys would not exist if courts did not reward them for their behavior.
