How embarrassing for us as a nation that we just conquered the world stage for a sport and they are using it to make a political statement that further divides the country.

You had a chance to help but instead your hurt.

But to the mind of a liberal they truly believe that others are just wrong and thus must be fought and defeated.

I keep reading about the equality act of 2019 and that the administration is the reason it didn't get passed but it seems the senate didn't like it.

If you read it there some crazy stuff in there

Your link is from Saturday, before the championship game. It also only quotes what Rapinoe thinks most of the players would not go, if invited.
I'm not sure what you gain by refusing a chance to discuss your "problems" in life, your society, with the very one person who may could help you achieve your societal dreams. Whatever they really are. I'm not sure what society owes left wing lesbians that they don't already have the opportunity.

Nobody cares about them anyways.

After one month their will not even be a whisper about their team by anybody.

Seems like a pretty big opportunity to argue your case in front of the most powerful person in the free world.

Their emotions come before any logic or reasoning.

Which is why she can never make a coherent argument on what she has against Trump.

That is pretty low class to turn down an invitation to the White House and I don't care who is in office. I was not a fan of Barrack Obama ,but given the the chance to go to the White House during his administration I would have gone and not hesitated.

The Eagles did the same. Several Dodgers may as well.

It’s a thing considering the current resident of the White House making America great again even though the US has always been the supreme power of the world.

Lastly, wrong board.

Especially since their animosity towards Trump is mostly based on bullshite fake news. How tragic would it be for Rapinoe to give a passionate diatribe to the President over gay rights and have Trump respond “Okay, no problem”?

Maybe Trump should invite the 15 and under boys team that beat the women's team.

That would actually be an epic counter troll.

I'm really trying to figure out, other than it's en vogue for liberals, the vitriol of Trump and other Republicans.
What oppressions are you really experiencing? Is there something you feel owed to you, but are denied?

Honestly, it’s be kind of funny, but it’s time for DT to take the high road a President should.

The fact he invited them knowing they’d refuse is a start.

I’m not jumping in the fray of the women’s soccer team as I’m not versed in why exactly they are protesting.

But, are we to set standards based upon other countries? Or, should they be based upon human rights?

So, gays and women should be happy they aren’t beaten regularly (as an example) and accept all other inequalities?

And, what about Western Europe? Why insinuate the Persian countries without recognizing England, France, the Netherlands, etc.?

Don’t be ignorant.

Inequalities? We’ve just had a month of rainbows. Parades. Tributes.

If thats oppression then i’d love to be oppressed.

Our women soccer players are paid better than our men. Let that sink in.
