Nobody in the entire world cares about women's soccer, and here they are, in the only country on earth that funds the sport, making total bitches out of themselves. It's mind numbing how ridiculous this is.

Exactly... Their politics are more important, and so that’s what they will be left to wrap themselves in.... Opportunity LOST... The opportunity to rally support for their sport was within their grasp, and they blew it, because they chose to alienate half the country instead. Football, basketball, and baseball can get away with politicizing shite to a degree because they’re already well established in America and have a firm grip on it, but soccer, not even close, and Women’s Soccer, even less so.

Obvious since this first started, but worth repeating. You take issue with the President. You get invited to the WH and could request some time with the President to air your grievances to his face. You still flat out refuse to go.

This is an area of weakness with the administration. You can hate and name call anyone critical of the president or you admit it’s prettty damaging to the image of the office when the guy in it says he can have any woman cause he can just grab them by the “pushy”. Even while running for office he attacked any woman challenger on her looks and any woman that criticized him as she’s ugly anyway. I wish he’d clean that part of his demeanor up for the image of the country, but it’s playing to a small crowd.

I think it's obvious by now that no one really cares about the women's soccer game.
It's a shame because I believe some of those girls and women are going to miss out on the accolades of their achievement all because a few kunts had to drag their politics onto the field.
The only people who can fix this are the ones on the team that care more about playing the game than making political statements. Maybe they will stand up and tell the grand-standers to STFO and stop making them all look like idiots.
