Journalism has been dead for some time. This shite where they expressly tell us, in a headline no less, what our moral conclusions should be is juvenile and pathetic.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.
They’re all extremely rabid and need to be locked up or shipped to another country since the hate America so much.

If we're gonna rewrite history to this degree, let's go ahead & accuse the Pilgrims of using AK 47's in suppressing the redskins. And giving them rot gut liquor & Mardi Gras beads for their squaws. ( admin: sarcasm only )

Sad story.

Enslaved by the English years before the Mayflower landed. Taken to England. Eventually returned home to find his Patuxet village abandoned since everyone had died. Lived with the Wampanoag after that.

So let me get this straight. Pilgrims are feasting a bountiful harvest and in celebration fire guns in celebration. Indigenous people hear the gun fire, gather up and go looking for trouble. When they get there, there is no trouble, just
Pilgrims having a feast. So once there, the indigenous people sit down and take part in the feast uninvited. I don't know, but that seems kind of rude.

Why it matters = automatic ignore.

Like when one of those scorching hot take blogs end headlines with "...and that's a good thing." frick off already, people enjoy Thanksgiving because they get off work, hang with family, watch football, and crush food. I don't know a single person who gives a flying shite about "the actual story."

I have never heard of this.

And no, I don't care. Actually find it humorous.

These people are just miserable and instead of focusing on how they can help others I don’t know go be a diabetic educator on a reservation vs. wanting an holiday name change…..Anyone watch Finding Your Roots on PBS? Henry Louis Gates had Tamera Mowry on who is bi-racial and is a direct descendant of William Brewster who was on the Mayflower and feasted with the Indians. Also related to freed slaves from the Bahamas. One hand I am supposed to embrace illegal immigrants because my country is one built by immigrants. Then USA Today says give it all back I am a white colonizer but what if I am Tamera Mowry who is a Mayflower descendant and is related to freed slaves? When do you move on and make positive change by actually being useful and not just virtue signaling?

Turkey and corn are both indigenous to North America. They’ve been part of it as long as I remember.
