The fact that they value "diversity" more than things like shitty, brutal winters and being kind of remote with pretty long drives to the nearest population centers says a lot.

It says even more that they don't connect the dots between the "lack of diversity" and that "lowest violent crime rate".

You don't have to be the sharpest crayon in the tool shed to connect the dots there. To progressives and their left-wing propaganda apparatus (the MSM) white people are the scourge of the planet. Well, except when they point out the socialist-democracies run by the Nordic nations. Then, their lack of diversity is swept u Der the rug and never mentioned. Weird how that works, huh?

Vermont/Maine might be the best places to retire for summers to. I recently bought some land in mid Vermont to build on one day for that plan...

A former governor of Maine got called out for pointing out issues caused by urban types in the bigger cities heading out into the small towns.

I call bullshite. The rate per kilowatt hour might be “low”, but they more than make up for it with a shite ton of fees.

I find it curious that "lack of diversity" is never mentioned as an issue where the demographics are switched

That becomes the disadvantage of “food deserts” because businesses don’t believe in the five finger discount.

Florida

Best: Not falling apart

According to an index of structurally deficient bridges, hazardous dams, and unserviceable roads, Florida has the safest infrastructure in the nation.

Worst: Fewest libraries per capita

It may be tough for Floridians, especially children, to become avid readers as the Sunshine State has fewer libraries per person than any other state.

I guess not having libraries makes kids dumb. Where on earth else could they get books or learning materials!?

Lowest crime rate in the country...94.4% white with little diversity.

So strange how those two coincide with one another.

Considering all the jokes about Florida being “God’s waiting room” due to retirees, I don’t think this is the size of issue they make it out to be. Average age in that state is skewed pretty high.

That's exactly what I'm worried about when taking money out the ATM.

I'm always looking over my shoulder for that gender pay gap sneaking up behind me.

Those states mentioned also tend to be high in the education.

While states like Louisiana and ms are continually the lowest.

Wonder why?

It wouldn’t be so big of a gap if we didn’t have so many plant baws here making double and a half overtime.

Don’t have enough bawettes

I wonder how they figure this. Lots of women down here prob don’t work.

And the rest of the jobs like service industry, I have a hard time believing all the women make less than men.

I'd think brutally cold winters would be the worst.

The most difficult adjustment for people from the south isn't the cold. It's the shortened days.

You make it back up with gorgeous spring, summer and fall though.

Also people up there are either very nice or incredibly stuck up. And a DISPROPORTIONATE amount of trannies / crossdressers.

Just goes to show when white people create a utopia they still try to frick it up.

I lived and worked on southern maine for two years and it is paradise. Hated having to move back to the ATL but wife would not relocate.
A few things to consider:
All minorities are in Portland and were Ethiopia ns brought in by the feds. I didn’t see a dozen the entire two years outside of Portland.
The folks being slighted by the governor were probably “Massholes” as the residents describe the invaders. I believe you can tell where they’re from, mostly Boston.
It is very expensive to live there. You heat and boil water with either electricity, oil or propane and of course wood. No natural gas.
High paying jobs are there just not many of them.
Once you drive out of town you may lose cell service. However even during summer, roll down the windows and smell the forest and hear the streams. Really.
