I fully support the death penalty for telemarking.

I’m all about freedom of speech, but nobody has a right to invade my privacy or my home and disrupt me uninvited.

Want to inform me about your product or service? Pay for media advertising like any legitimate company.

Telemarketers are the scum of the earth and it’s a travesty that they can’t each die a thousand miserable deaths.

frick telespammers. I wish upon them all the bad things in life.

This will probably be in all of the terms of service agreements that nobody ever reads when we download an app. You will just click "agree" on every permission on every app. Guaranteed companies will start putting this in there somewhere.

Zero way of enforcing this, especially when they already spoof numbers and call from India.

iOS 13 which comes out in September or so has a toggle button to automatically screen calls not in your contact list.

Beta version is available now.

What gets me is junk mail. I know it's dirt cheap to create and USPS makes the delivery affordable, but I don't understand who exactly is paying for creation of the bulk mailers. Does anyone ever read those things beyond identifying it as junk to toss it? I know I don't, ain't nobody got time for dat shite.

I don’t get why there hasn’t been a huge push against it from the climate change / save the trees / save the environment people

I can’t speak for the nationwide companies but we send targeted local mailers and they work. We get a phone call per about 500 we send out. Which works out to being well worth it.

Are they from the same number?

If you have an iPhone it is as easy as clicking on the i with the circle next to the number and hitting block this caller.

Now if they are changing numbers or spoof a real number then this method doesn’t work.

Also, you can download apps like NoRobo that will block numbers in its database.

When elected president, I will authorize Delta Force and the Navy Seals to hunt down and kill the people responsible for robocalls any place on the planet they can find them.

So now instead they’ll hire someone in India to manually do it
