Updated: Amazon wants me to send back the $8 watch batteries they accidentally sent me

Update: I called and they told me to keep the batteries. Woman on the phone said that it was a miscommunication. I really was going to send them back, if I got any push back, but...
Long story short: I ordered some watch batteries that took 3 days to come when it should have taken one day. I called and complained. I think the person I talked to must have gotten confused because the day after my complaint I received another order of the same batteries (this was on Friday).
I just got an email from Amazon telling me they need me to return the batteries or I'll be charged. They sent a shipping label and all. This is a small, but notable inconvenience and I think it's STUPID that a billion dollar company needs their $8 batteries back, especially when the mistake was theirs. And frankly, I don't want to be bothered. WWTOTD?
I'm calling back tomorrow to bitch about all of this, because why the hell not.
It should also be noted that a few months ago I ordered a small vacuum ($36 value) from Black and Decker. They accidentally sent two, I called offering to return it and they told me instead to donate it to someone in need. So, this $8 battery b.s. is especially laughable.

Just have your admin return it. Not a big deal.

Are you trying to steal $8 batteries? Don’t be a hobo and just send them their shite.

You're spending more time on the phone with them than it takes to drop the shite in the mail.

Or just say you already opened them

Leave em on the front porch of Cortana Mall.

You spent more time typing up this post showing what a sissy you are, than it would take to drop the batteries into the package they gave you and have them pick it up at your door.
Have you no vestiges of manhood? Just admit you want to keep the batteries, cheap arse.

Keep the batteries. If they charge you, dispute the credit card transaction.

Amazon has been going downhill for awhile now.
They're even getting pissy about refunds from their shitty sellers.

Why not just tell them you didn’t receive any other batteries?
Or tell them you are out of town on business and won’t be back for about a month?
So many ways to play this shite. But I wouldn’t call them and bitch at them about why you should return them.

I really dislike Amazon. The cheap products, fake reviews, poor customer service, constantly late Prime shipments...
I wish a few viable competitors would emerge and take Amazon down a few notches. Amazon has baited people into integrating their whole shopping habits into their platform, then has slowly raised prices over time and decreased quality, hoping people wouldn't notice or care.

No, there's not. Be honest. Send them back. Quit dealing with them if you don't like them but stealing and lying puts you down on their level.

I ordered a shirt. It didn't arrive so they sent me a replacement. The other one finally showed up. I called them and they said don't bother sending it back
