The never solved the case of the McKinley QB who was killed at a party either. These people are all about the worldstar videos and faux outrage over police arresting someone but when it comes to outing a killer amongst themselves, they are silent.

51 minutes of pursuit watching the driver place countless lives in danger during rush hour traffic and both suspects were taken into custody with only the force necessary to briefly control them.
The cuffing officer even double locked the cuffs to prevent them from tightening on him.

The camera angle from the white guy with the tats shows how the cop basically put his knee on the upper back where it meets the neck and it didnt look that forceful. Basically he pinned him down while being cuffed then immediately got off and got on their feet.
This is why cops should be more welcoming of body cams. Sometimes there's no way to justify what we see in a photo but other times it can be misleading AF.
Good on the BRPD for releasing camera footage from all the cops involved, and with pretty decent quality video.

I was under the impression that this is a situation that would've easily had that young man killed by police. Glad those officers were able to show some restraint.

maybe BRPD should have:
- swept the street so the suspect didn't get dirty while laying on the ground for 15 seconds?
- should they have maybe put down a yoga mat because of the harsh surface?
- asked them if this was a convenient time for them to be apprehended? or did they have lunch plans?
- maybe called the boys' pastor and had him speak to them about the matter first?
- given the boys a hug and a pat on the head for a fun police chase?
like what the frick else could that community expect? this was a textbook apprehension by BRPD. This is training video material. They deserve praise, not scrutiny. They should be given raises not dragged through some wasteful investigation. frick Gravy and SWB - they are cancer to BR.
when are people in BR going to start saying "No" to bullshite like this? November would be a good start. Stop voting with your "heart" while the city continues to quickly crumble around you and people worth their salt leave permanently.

She’s upset, she is looking for more videos, and it’s obvious she wants to find fault with the cops. She ignores how reckless these two guys were and how they endangered life and property during the entire episode.
This was really a non event thankfully, but we are lucking some innocent person wasn’t run down in all this. However, the mayor, the lawyer and the thugs’ family only went to talk about the street!!! Give me a break.

Also, you can see from his body cam that he got off him the exact second that he finished handcuffing him.
