The mayor is a dumb pos, but it will never change in BTR from here on out. The best thing to hope for is changing things to where the mayor of Baton Rouge isn't the mayor/president over the whole parish. Or, staff it only with officers who agree with you politically. It's already happening. Before all of this began 5 or 10 years ago, dems had very little to no control of PDs. That's been changing rapidly.
