By definition.....the object has to be flying to be a UFO.

I guess it's technically just a UO.

Third Phase UFO.
First Phase is Unidentified Flying object.
Second Phase, Unidentified Falling Object.

What a weird story. That picture looks like the tail of a Bombardier Global

I'm trying to picture in my mind Taliban engineers reading flight data from a black box and all I'm getting is a couple of cavemen beating rocks together.

could be a 727 though

ETA perhaps a DC-9

Nope. Look at the APU inlet in front of the rudder. And, higher bypass engines. Could be a CRJ 900 or CRJ 700 though.

ETA: Or Bombardier Global as noted above. Basically same plane, different interior.

How do they know 83 people died if they don’t know what plane it is? Seems weird to me they published that number? There’s no way those goat frickers counted arms and legs already.

Apparently the US Army is investigating the crash. The video shows a US military roundel on the engine.

Yeah, whatever that pic is, isn't a large commercial airliner. Commuter or private jet.

The 737s engines are under its wings not mounted on the fuselage near the tail.

And the horizontal stabilizers are way too high to be a 737 also.
