How many crew members would man that thing for the military ?

Saw a report stating 2 dead and Taliban searching for 2 other survivors in nearby villages.

Video definitely looks like there could be survivors and the plane just burned up after it was on the ground.
Where is the OP for goodness sake? He needs to change the title already.

Also, what are these planes used for? A guy at work who is former military said he flew that type of plane in and out of Afghan.
Communication relays.

The fact that the plane went down 6 miles from a military base is wild. I assume, this type of plane would take off from a base? If so, seems like it could of had issues at take off and attempted a crash landing. Doesn’t seem like the plane would be that in tact if it was shot out of the sky. But I don’t know shite, I guess it could?

U.S. Forces Afghanistan spokesman Col. Sonny Leggett said in a statement that the cause of the crash was under investigation and that there were “no indications the crash was caused by enemy fire.” Leggett added that Taliban claims of additional downed aircraft were false.

1. Scary that actually exist
2. Since it does exist it should properly be name Afgan-American Airlines. After all, we paid for it.

This photo is reported to be the plane. It doesnt look like a 737. The 737s engines are under its wings not mounted on the fuselage near the tail.
Certainly not a 737.
