I just cannot understand why they are making this mutually exclusive. It’s absolutely mind boggling.
BL is abusive and mentally off therefore GP can be neither of these things. It’s a sight to behold.

True. I'm just trying to say that someone could watch the video in an isolated context and come to one conclusion about both of them.
But throw in something like reading the witness accounts prior to them being pulled over in Utah or something else in the timeline and have a totally different perspective of one or both of them when you watch it again from that perspective.
ETA that it's a very crucial piece of evidence. Without it and the other video of the van, she's probably still missing right now.

I agree they’re not mutually exclusive. I’m actually saying that no definite conclusions can be drawn about either person involved based off that video.
Being an emotional basket case and hitting your boyfriend one time doesn’t make a person unstable and an abuser.
Getting hit by your girlfriend one time doesn’t make you a victim, weak or innocent of anything else.
We don’t know what led to her hitting him and freaking out.
We don’t know if that’s the first time either has hit the either.
We don’t know enough to form a full opinion either way based on that video.

the most important point is it starts to paint the picture of their relationship and issues they were having.
