quote: Earl A. Kimrey is accused of “removing Mariah Woods body from the scene of her death, and did conceal Mariah Woods death and body knowing that Mariah Woods died from unnatural causes, the defendant acted with deceit and intent to defraud,” according to a narrative written in the warrant for arrest of the 32-year-old, live-in boyfriend of Kristy Woods, the 3-year-old’s mother.
The warrant continues to state that Kimrey “failed to notify a law enforcement authority of the death of Mariah Woods and secretly disposed of the dead child’s body knowing and having reason to know the body and human remains of Mariah Woods are of a person that did not die of natural causes.”
When I read the above quote it makes me think the boyfriend did NOT kill the child, or at least not intentionally. The cops are charging him with moving and disposing of the child's body, not reporting the death, etc. If they thought he killed her, intentionally or accidentally, wouldn't they book him with some type of homicide charge?
The way I read this, he disposed of the body. It sounds to me like someone else killed her, or more likely, the child died accidentally or from neglect. Don't get me wrong, he's a POS who ought to be put down, but it doesn't sound to me like he killed her. At least based on this article.

They won’t charge him with homocide before they find the body.

Probably just had enough evidence for an arrest on this charge. They’ll add more while they have him under lock and key, which will probably compell him to admit to further involvement.

This is strange. They must have some evidence that he disposed of the body etc..., but if they have that, it would seem they would know where the body is. I wonder if he concocted a story about her dying and he was scared and disposed of the body, but why wouldn't he just tell them where the body was, also? Maybe because he doesn't want them to be able to tell how she died.

If they find the body they will add charges.

Yeah, I suppose so. I'm not sure how much they're going to find if it takes too much longer. She's likely in the water or marsh someplace and decomposing rapidly. Sad story and short life for this little girl.
Believe me, I'm not taking up for the guy. It just sounds to me like it might have been accidental and this idiot made a series of bad decisions after the fact to cover up for the girlfriend or himself.

I know CA posted something a few pages back about them putting up sensors/cameras or something around their trailer. Surely he would’ve known they were watching him...? But they still don’t have her body... hmm. So I wonder what they saw or found out to be able to charge him.
IMO, the biological father should be able to kill this man, if he is guilty of murdering the poor girl. It’s unfortunate that is not allowed to happen

The wording of this is interesting, it sounds like it indicates that they don’t have enough to charge him with murder.

What were the sensors for?

The biological father is partially to blame. If he had his shite together the baby wouldn’t have been in such a dangerous place.

Possibly. Courts are goi g to favor the mother though. It sounds like she got bored and discovered meth and moved in with the boyfriend to keep the fun going and then here we are.
Why do these people always look like such tools? Affliction shirts, backwards caps, serious look on their face, etc.

This article says Kimrey also committed larceny the night of the disappearance. He apparently broke into a house and stole 2 dressers sometime between 11pm and 3:30am... The same time frame in which the girl was supposedly last seen. Perhaps the girl's death was somehow intertwined with this crime.

I read that too. Some type of white globes on a pole. I wonder what kind of sensors they were? Maybe recording movement (but they could have secretly put up 'game cameras' or recording phone calls or something. I just thought they could do that without being so obvious...

BF and Mariah on bottom stair.

I asked earlier in the thread. I have no idea. Only NCIS knows...
