Sorry man, I know its rough. I lost my first child at a week old. Just be there for your daughter, make sure she isn't keeping her emotions to her self. Holding it in might make those emotions fester into sommething really awful later in life. Wife and I did, 19 years later we are both struggling with addiction.

Was really hoping for a happy ending to this story.
Cant imagine the sadness and the pain you feel, but you are in my thoughts. I believe God will welcome Blakely home to a far better place and I can only hope that you find healing and hope in knowing you will see her again some day.

Ugh. At least this poor baby is not suffering anymore and will get to live in eternity with Jesus .

Jesus, I know there is nothing to say to lessen your family’s pain.
However, I have faith and know you will all be reunited again, for eternity. And that, that right there, brings me comfort and hope.

My oldest daughter(16) had her gallbladder removed this morning and I just kissed my youngest daughter(9 months) good night. I’ve been following this thread and it truly breaks my heart. Prayers to your family

The OT can be a shithole on any given day. But on others it's a great place for catharsis and compassion.
You sharing such a personal and painful journey makes some of us parents of the OT feel like shite. I mean that in the most positive way ever. We deserve it.
We take so much for granted in the mundane daily routines with kids.
Your thread stopped me in my tracks and reminded me just how fragile life is and how fricking lucky I am.
Sending love and prayers to your family.
