There’s no way that guy was in a right state of mind leave the car in neutral/drive and leave your daughter in the car while you run into your friends house and it’s a walking distance away and you never see it definitely more to the story

She's 9 months old. I don't think she had the capacity to be terrified

Story now is that it likely wasn’t a kidnapping. The car wasn’t put into park, it then rolled a few hundred yards into some kudzu.

If you know anything about Parrish or Walker County in general, this isn’t surprising.

You hear stories about people finding old barns nobody knew about because the kudzu swallowed them up with classic cars in them.

Sure is pretty though seeing rolling hills of it in hill country.

Smells good too when it blooms.

The blossoms make an excellent jelly. The vines are said to be good livestock feed, but the ravines kudzu was planted on (left over from lanscape erosion tied to cotton production) are too dangerous to let cattle loose in them.

One set of my grandparents lived in north Mississippi. I know kudzu all too well.

shite grows about a foot a day and laughs at round-up.

I had no idea it bloomed. I had to look it up. It’s a pretty flower for such an a-hole vine.

The window was already busted because the vehicle is in terrible condition. Baby had ventilation from the broken window and presumably shade from the thick tangle of vines.

Poor girl probably being raised by crackheads
