A lady down our street has a Sunbeam Tiger. Beautiful little car. I tried to get her to sell it to me over the years, but she is still too attached to it.
A friend of mines father gave his older brother that same car as a high school graduation present and we all got to ride in it. A few months later he shipped out to Vietnam and by Christmas had been killed. His father kept the car in the garage for as long as I remember until he died. Not sure where it is now.
I saw an AMC Pacer yesterday.

I did, but it’s too late to fix my post now. It’s already been quoted into immortality.
ETA I was anti a redesign on them until I saw a new one. Man I love those ugly things.

Ah I get it, when your argument has failed, resort to retorts like these. You wont answer the question because you know the answer contradicts your theory.
Is the Gallardo your dream car or something? you seem to have an infatuation with making it seem like more than it is.

You're a moron because they are objectively rare. Not sure what else to tell you.

Jesus H would you two British cigarettes give it a rest.

There is an MGA a well known dallas chef drives around town.

Look, everyone except you in this thread realizes you're just being an a-hole.
The point of this good natured thread was obviously "Hey, what cool/unusual cars have you run across lately that you don't see everyday", not "What qualifies as an investment-grade collector auto that they only made 12 of". Ferrari Testa Rossa/GTO/California are legitimately rare cars, we all get it. Lnchbox has repeatedly explained this point to you, but you keep straw-manning him while at the same time obnoxiously humble-bragging what an upscale hood you live/work in.
Your daily experience is obviously outside the norm and the other 99.9% of us would have had the good taste to just peruse the thread and move on.
Try to act like you've been there before.

Yea a quick google search says something like 1,100 if all Lambo models were sold new in the US in 2017. 387,000+ Toyota Camrys were sold.

Mayor of New Iberia had a black one for sale recently. Was very tempted to buy it

Fisker Karma. I've seen three in the past year or so.

This guy lives down the street from a Lamborghini dealership, of course he sees a shite ton of them out on test drives, coming in for service.
For people that don’t live in a state that has a dealership it’s pretty rare to see one.

That is a sad story too many times repeated through the years. I can only hope that the current owner knows the history of it and is caring for it the way it should be.
The lady down the street is hanging on to the car as it was her late husbands. I'm thinking when she drives it, it brings back good memories of them together and that is why she is keeping it.

It's sad you had to spell it out for him

In the debate I had with lunch who resorted to name calling?
I merely stated that experts wouldn’t call it rare. Which is a fact. It’s was their entry level high production model. It’s was pretty much unlike any other lambo. I see mclarens and other exotics daily that I would classify as rare. My sister collects cars, one of hers is a one of 25 mb. That’s rare. I wouldn’t even call her older amg’s that were of 2000 produced each year as rare. If you can go to a lot and just buy it, they are not rare, for new cars.
I also said in 20-30 years after most go to the wreckers(because they are used as dd’s quote often they might be rare again. But more than likely they will just be a used car with no appreciation

I like the cut of your jib, young man.

Collector car experts wouldn’t.
Uncle Biff, aka the common man, driving down I-10 sure would.
ETA A Ferrar NART Spider is rare when compared to other Ferrari models. But the highest produced Ferrari ever is still rare AF when compared to what the everyday man drives.

Saw an old Ford Falcon last week.

There is only supposed to be one black F50 in the country. Though wouldn't doubt there could be others. The one black was was totaled and then rebuilt.
