I see mclarens and other exotics daily that I would classify as rare.
Unless you are seeing an F1 or a P1 then the mclarens you are seeing are no rarer than a gallardo. And you sure as shite arent seeing those two daily

This guy lives down the street from a Lamborghini dealership, of course he sees a shite ton of them out on test drives, coming in for service.
For people that don’t live in a state that has a dealership it’s pretty rare to see one.
Rare for a particular person also does not make it rare. Hence why i asked what an collector or an expert would say. There was no response because he knows the answer

There is an f1 and two p1s that I know of. The guy with the f1 also has some special lambo that was 2 million. And I would agree on the lesser mclarens and Ferrari’s etc... except the few se’s But even those don’t hold much value because the main/base models bastardize it so much. The f1 guy kind of makes it known when he drives but it’s not a dd
Like I said, if you can just go buy one off numerous car lots, it’s not rare. Especially on the used market, as in several k on the od.

I know of some f1s and p1s but that doesn’t mean I see them being driven, and neither do you

12 P1s on autotrader on dealer lots. P1s are not rare by your own stupid criteria

Do you think any legitimate care collector would currently call a Gallardo a rare car?
For someone who collects supercars, no.
As far as I know, no one here on the OT is a supercar collector. So for this group, yes it would be rare.

This thread is obviously talking about cars we don’t see on the road regularly. Of course Lambos and most anything else are available to rich collectors but who cares about that.

I used to drive a tiger striped lambo until a few years ago. Loved that car. I would park it in front of bars and nightclubs so everyone could look at it. They loved it. I got so much pussy because of it you just don’t know. I even had LSU ask me to take a picture with it infront of Tiger Stadium to sell. Man those were some great times. Everyone loved me and that car.
But life comes at you fast sometimes. Brb, I hear a guard coming....

A Rolls-Royce that looked to be a 70's model in the Costco parking lot 2 days ago.
About a week ago I was in Rouses and a guy had a late 50's Ford Ranchero that was in very nice shape.

I would like to seriously apologize for saying I saw a gallardo and totally derailing this thread.

Not one is from the same dealer, nor the lambo dealer. Any more assumptions I can get one for the price of a nice f350
ETA, just to list
Used car lot
used car lot
Private seller
Jeep Dodge dealer
Private Seller
ETA Broker
BMW
Now compare those to the 10 P1's, most were pretty much brokers, actual exotic lots, and Mclaren
