If you can find a golf club where some members or home owners dont think they are better than everyone else let us all know.

CCL memberships are advertised in the advocate
You still need to be sponsored and interviewed but it is a lot easier than BRCC.

Is it even worth it now that Broome is the mayor?

CCL course layout makes BRCC look like Webb
Yeah, much more property to put the golf course on. Goes without saying that the layout is nicer. Why is it so much harder and more expensive to get into BRCC than CCL? Maybe because CCL isn't very desirable?

The pin placement on that hole is always ridiculous. Hardest par 3 around this area.
And their first par 4 is always too easy.

I don't think there's any question that UC is the hardest course in the city. The greens are just insane.

BRCC gives off the vibe that they don't really want new members.

BRCC is one of my favorite courses in LA. I also really like Oakbourne which is similar in layout. I guess I just like the older postage stamp type courses.

expect they were begging for new members with their ridiculously cheap Junior membership
BRCC is a really nice course but I prefer Uclub. BRCC you have a bunch of jackasses hitting of the wrong fairway on most the holes.
Never played CCL

You've obviously never played the blind par 3 City Park - 8th and 17th
I think the blind par 3 number 4 at Oak Knoll is the hardest par 3 I've ever played.

My sister lives there and her neighbor is Bobby Jidal; Coach Johnny Jones lives in the area too. I don't know about any others.
It's a nice house, but it was built on the cheap side considering what they paid.
I like my house that was built in 1956 in the city better than her house.

Some people value the walk-ability of certain neighborhoods. I'd rather live in Hundred Oaks, than UC.

CCL has 800 members

BRCC is the only worthwhile club in this city. They advertise CCL memberships in the fricking newspaper. Any joker can join CCL for like $10k. A BRCC stockholdership will cost you $40k. CCL is for whitetrash who haven't lived in BR long enough to realize it. Sorry not sorry. Actually the city club is better than CCL. CCL is for fricking dentists and people that moved here from the north.
I'm betting you would struggle with the Tara pool membership .

Hey, you know damn well that was some of the best $300 per summer your parents ever spent. Coach Robelot's swimming training. Shark & Minnow in the deep end. Living out of a Tom's machine(unless heading home for lunch, to Dearman's, BK, or Bocage food bar with a friend that belonged there). Amusing yellow color kiddie pool no matter how much Coach shocked it every morning. Speedos on everyone(even Robelot & Rusty Meador unfortunately)

I thought UC was a phenomenon of late, after hours clubs in university towns, known for accommodating all parts of the gender and sexual proclivity spectrum.

We just finished a custom built house earlier this year in UClub. Love the house, and absolutely love the neighborhood. Everyone I have met is super friendly, and the lines out of the sub in the morning is not that bad ( would love a second entrance.)
