I hear if you have type O you are a lot less at risk of catching Covid and if you do, you’re not as hard hit

Good thread….this thread s seems to show that is a myth.

I’m O- too and my wife tested positive for Covid last summer. Didn’t have one symptom but I go around telling everyone I have natural antibodies so I don’t have to worry about Covid. Truth is I have no idea if I even caught it. Never had one symptom but I sure as hell know that I’m not susceptible to any complications from Covid. Too young and healthy anyway.

O -

No Co-Vid.
I rarely get sick with anything. Been lucky so far.

O positive and don’t think I’ve caught it even though playing b-ball frequently since past summer. Haven’t had a bad flu since childhood.

I’m O-. I felt super achy and exhausted for a few days, but never developed any significant respiratory symptoms. Low grade fever for one day. Lost taste/smell for a week or so.

It wasn’t fun, but it was way less severe than flu for me. This was for last year’s variant, if that matters.

Load of dookie just like most other '"facts" about Covid. Wife is O+ and had it twice, as did the rest of my family. I'm A+ and either never had it, or had it and didn't know it.

I'm O+ and had Covid in the beginning of July. Hit me pretty hard, I was down for three weeks. I went to the E-room due to trouble breathing, found out I had pneumonia. Feeling a lot better now but still not 100%

O+, at 55 no covid and have never have had more than a 24hr flu in my life. Taken zero prescription meds in over 20 years.

Type O has nothing to do with whether you catch Covid or not.

O+, had it in Jan/February. Spent 3 days in the hospital and another month feeling like crap. Fit as a fiddle now
