Highway has a lot of traffic. They weren’t abducted in a front yard

I hope these girls come wandering out into the road, get home, get some food and get warmed up.

At least it is only 56, and the temp is supposed to slowly climb all night. Good luck to those searching.

N508SP the aircraft searching, is a Bell 407 that has both a FLIR turret and a very bright steerable search light.

Yeah with the parents and neighbors on the scene immediately, and helicopters with thermal scans in the air, they should be located quickly. The longer it goes on the more my stomach sinks at the thought of an abduction-type scenario. But then again… they were in their front yard. I wouldn't think someone is going to kidnap a kid in their front yard.

Is it possible the family had enemies or a family member could be involved? Hard to imagine these girls randomly run out there house chasing a dog as someone is driving by waiting to kidnap them. Hoping neither is the case and they are both found safe ASAP

but an abduction of two girls and a dog seems unlikely even as quiet as it would be in Folsom

I haven't been there in many many years, but that's the last place I'd guess for a kidnapping.

How far could they have gone? Especially with a massive search party started soon after I’m sure

Hopefully they didn’t go far at all and are
Holed up in a deer stand like the old lady in Watson. FLIR may not be as crisp in dense woods and looking for kids with coats on. Hopefully this is what’s hindering the search and not something more ominous.

I think we would have seen an amber alert by now or something if they suspected that was the case.

You tell me why they haven’t been found w thermal tech. They wouldn’t be that far.

It doesn’t sound like they had coats, I think they’re in skirts or shorts.

Agreed. Plus they’re kids. They wouldn’t think helicopters are looking for them. It’s probably freaking them out like they’re in some kind of movie.

There’s lots of sketchiness everywhere including that area. That rd is beautiful but still random types all over.

Yeah hopefully they're freaked out I can't see how else they'd be out there and not yet found.

I don’t know I’m not involved in the search and rescue, but they’re very complicated even with millions of dollars of equipment. Have some patience.

Hope so. If they are there, they should be found quick.

Glad it's not too cold tonight at least if those girls are indeed just lost.

Agreed. The weather is a huge advantage. Especially with them being in shorts or skirts.

These situations always have me suspicious of family members first.
