I honestly think your line of thinking doesn't make sense either. Submission
People virtue signal with the masks (or in this case, 2 masks) and will bully others into accepting the same.
We’ve seen the screaming Karens getting up in peoples faces if they don’t have a mask on.
The cloth masks don’t do anything. Most of them don’t do anything.
But wearing one, especially when it makes zero sense to do so, is a form of submitting to these petty tyrants who say “just wear a mask! 14 days to flatten the curve”

This country is quickly dividing in to two distinct types of people:
Those who wish to live their lives as they see fit.
Those who wish you to live your life as they see fit.
One of those doesn't care if you wear a mask or not. That's your choice. The other will use whatever government power, snitching, or browbeating it takes to make sure you wear a mask because they think you should. And the divide is almost completely along rural vs. urban lines, with a mix in the suburbs.

Who cares?
What do you mean, who cares? You think they won't start requiring this soon? Have you tried breathing with 2 masks?

, Chasten, was sporting a similar double-masked look, but with a fashionable plaid cloth mask that coordinated with his winter scarf.
journalism is going to be so terrible the next 4 years.
we just had the finest first lady ever, and she had amazing fashion, but didn't make the cover of any magazines. We're going to see Chasten and Emhoff on the cover of a women's magazine in the next 4 years, no question.

well if you remember the media stuck to the underlying theme while Trump was in office, “this is not normal”. Now they are pushing normal, normal, normal. It’s all going as planned. Finally stability.
Example. Yesterday 8k people died of COVID. Biden was tweeting about chocolate chip ice cream. Imagine if Trump did that.
Hell, one of the members of the White House Press Room asked Jen Psaki if Joe was wistful or sad that because of COVID he wouldn’t receive the same level of fanfare as previous Presidents. A cutesie pie softball question. While Biden has signed 30 EO’s in the first week.
This is your media. And they wonder why no one trusts them.

This would be better if he was wearing two masks inside that helmet.

Masks help keep you warm and it was very cold at the inauguration. So 2 masks keep you doubly warm. .

Reinoculation
It is well-recognized that COVID-19 exists outside the human body in a bioaerosol of airborne particles and droplets. Because exhaled air in an infected person is considered to be “loaded” with inoculum, each exhalation and inhalation is effectively reinoculation.15 In patients who are hospitalized, negative pressure is applied to the room air largely to reduce spread outside of the room. We propose that fresh air could reduce reinoculation and potentially reduce the severity of illness and possibly reduce household spread during quarantine. This calls for open windows, fans for aeration, or spending long periods of time outdoors away from others with no face covering to disperse and not reinhale the viral bioaerosol.
From the recent American Journal of Medicine report....if this is true they are killing sick people. Masks are useless without eye protection anyhow

We are supposed to be social distancing. That means staying away from each other to prevent the spread of a deadly virus. As far as I am concerned, if someone gets into my personal six feet of space and is yelling at me, that person is a direct and immediate threat to my health and wellbeing. I will defend myself accordingly.
I really, really hope the social distancing deal sticks. I was a fan of it before I ever knew what it was.
