We had giant yards to play football in, so the street never entered the equation.

We played tackle football in the grass. Sometimes it was serious. Me and a friend that ended up getting a football scholarship to LSU would go to the local junior high football field on Sundays. All out, head down fricking tackle football. He could has easily lost everything scholarship wise, but didn't.
