1) Once infected, can you get it again?
2) Can a person who is positive but asymptomatic infect someone else?
Why the frick are we still arguing over these two basic questions????

2. Yes but asymptomatic have lower viral loads and are much less contagious.

They knew back in february the answer to this. The answer is mostly no. It is very rare for asymptomatic people to transmit the virus.

The only thing we have is confirmation from the federal government 5 years ago that wearing cloth masks or the equivalent cheap garbage puts you at more risk of infection.

How do you transmit the virus if your not coughing, sneezing, or touching your face and asymptomatic. They did say it spreads through farts.

OP’s point is made by the wide variety of responses in this thread. Point is, nobody truly knows. Yet we lock things down, enact constitutionally questionable (at best) restrictions on personal freedoms and privately owned businesses, and turn society upside down in countless ways based on assumptions and anecdotal evidence. It’s madness. Most of these answers can be had with a few short term studies. Much quicker than waiting on a vaccine, which may never happen. If we’re going to be dealing with this for a long time, then we need real data and ‘science’ so mitigation measures can have maximum effectiveness with minimal disruption of the economy and normal life.

The bottom line is everyone is guessing. Trump, Fauchi, scarf,CDC, WHO, Governors, Mayors etc. We do know that this crap is highly contagious and most of us will get it. Some of us will die. Get back to school and get back to life.

1) @ the hospital Where I work, our first nurse came down with the virus in very early March [ let’s say March 15th]. He’s been our guinea pig ever sense... We Anti-body test him every 5 days, and PCR Test him every couple weeks.
Since he’s been back to work after the 14 days out, he’s been negative on the PCR Every time, and he’s still showing positive antibodies in his system, which is good, so he’s up to 4 months now with continued antibody protection, hopefully he keeps testing positive for them....
