re: TV just crapped the bed. Where is the best deal on a 50”+?

I remember when I got my 65 inch 4K samsung on black friday at walmart for like $350.

That was definitely worth wading into that shitstorm of a zoo for.

if only there was something like the internet where you could check to see what best buy and walmart had on sale

he never bothered to look beyond the first layer to realize there are only 3 companies who manufacture all those TVs, the 20 some odd brands give them the specs they want them to meet based on the end price point and then they slap their brand sticker on the TV housing.

for the most part the main differences in TVs today boils down to the menu options for the controls and the resolution quality

Or the 55in TCL 6 series for around that price. Or spend a couple hundred more and get the 6 series for around 700. That's why I said we need to know what he's working with.

They are morons because they over pay for TVs.

This isn't 1995.......the $450 Vizio or generic Chinese brand is 95% as good as televisions double or triple the price.

They are 95% as good and 99% percent of the market couldn't tell the difference between a Vizio, Insignia or Samsung.
