Whatever you buy, make sure it is WiFi capable and has the major streaming apps built in.

I went in sams the other day they had some 55 inch 4K TVs for $300. Don’t remember what brands if though, if it matters

BOught a 50” element with Roku built in for 250 @ Costco and it is legit better than my Samsung or LG

Look for a 7 series TCL with Roku. Don’t get less than a 7 because the blacks will look washed out. I got my 65” about 4 months ago and it’s been perfect.

I’ve found some of the best deals can be found by just going into your local Walmart and look for floor models and other stock they are trying to get rid of

I’m not a picky TV guy tho, they all pretty much look the same to me quality wise.

Nobody in Mandeville seems to have a killer deal right now. For the long run, a smart TV is what you want. You can get 4K's that are not smart for 'bout $350 but I think you should wait a bit and watch the sales.
Also, The prices seem to be coming down on the 65's so a 60 should be really cheap soon.

Also read the reviews about the smart tv interface. Some of them get bad reviews for having shitty interfaces which I didn’t even think about until I looked at the reviews. I have a firestick so it’s not as crucial but still good to know.
