It is really sad considering they are the only brewery in Baton Rouge. I’m hoping Cypress Coast on Government will be good. At this point, I’m not sure how you could do worse than Tin Roof. I keep hoping Parish would buy them out for increased capacity but some dreams weren’t meant to come true.
Totally agree. I was trying to be nice. They won that gold medal at GABF and then not much. I thought it would explode...but nothing.
Courtyard in NO has a similar setup but make some great beers. They make it work.
Id like to see some pop up like in San Diego, just small batch breweries peppered around the city. People eat that shite up.

The empty land was supposed to be a massive mixed use development called the River District, but the developer went bust in 2016. The land was taken over by the mortgage company Goldmen Saches, who last I heard, was waiting on the start of the street car project to begin construction. So Broome actually torpedo’d both plans simultaneously.

Southern Craft’s beer is even worse than Tin Roof, and both their location and setup suck as well.

I hate her.
The annals of history will forever show that she was the proverbial straw that broke Baton Rouge's back.
We had glimmers of hope until that piece of garbage started a race war.

I like Tin Roof’s setup and their beer.
Southern Craft is like going to drink shitty beer in the lobby of a small doc-in-the-box

Well since the landlord did not offer ole SJW douche, Scott, a lease extension, they currently don't have any set up.

Open container wasn’t selectively enforced on certain bars it was enforced on 3rd street to cut down on the riff raff that were making drinks from bottles in their cars in the parking lots and standing around on the street never going in bars, harassing women and starting fights. You can probably guess what group was doing this

I would contribute to Kip’s campaign if he wants to be re-elected.
