Smells like fall. House dropped to 70 time to kick on the heat!

Mine was at 65 before I turned on the heat last night. Turned it off before bed though.

I like to keep the house at 73 in the fall / winter.

Haven't turned mine on yet, about 67 in the house right now. 59 outside, a few windows open.
Low of 47 this coming weekend, may have to cave and turn it on

Tonight in Huntsville, AL it’s supposed to get down to 39

I’m a 77 in spring / summer and 73 in fall/ winter person.

We just bought a home with a fire place. I'm itching to turn it on, but trying to wait until the house gets colder than the 68 it was this morning so my husband doesn't hate me.

You turn the heat on when it’s 70? Pussy.
Posted on 10/13/19 at 7:16 pm to OleWarSkuleAlum
Are you 80 years old?
Posted on 10/13/19 at 7:34 pm to OleWarSkuleAlum
Wait, you turned on the heat and your house was at 70 degrees. What the frick, are you 103 or something????
My heat doesn't go on until the temp in the house hits the low 60s, and only because of the wife. If up to me, it would be in the 50's before the heat came on.

Heat at 70? Maybe try putting on a long sleeve t-shirt. We’ve got ours set at 68because we have a 3 month old and it got in the 30’s, it never kicked on and he was warm and toasty.

It’s obvious this thread is predominately occupied by beached whales who have to have their home temps at 40F otherwise their blubber warms them too much.

I sometimes will let it get to 65 upstairs before turning on the heat.

The frick is wrong with you? It’s 58 degrees here and I have the windows open
