Damn. Is this not the ultimate nightmare "what would you do" scenario?
We know from hindsight that the perp is more than filling to kill one of his victims.
You're faced with the prospect of some guy raping and traumatizing your SO at gunpoint.
You're faced with the prospect of being humiliated and traumatized by being forced to perform oral sex while at gunpoint on some guy.
To make things even more traumatic, imagine you have young children waiting for you at home.
I know what most think they would do in that situation, but to actually be placed in it and have to make that decision. My empathy goes out to that couple and how the rest of their lives will likely be forever changed.
We know from hindsight that the perp is more than filling to kill one of his victims.
You're faced with the prospect of some guy raping and traumatizing your SO at gunpoint.
You're faced with the prospect of being humiliated and traumatized by being forced to perform oral sex while at gunpoint on some guy.
To make things even more traumatic, imagine you have young children waiting for you at home.
I know what most think they would do in that situation, but to actually be placed in it and have to make that decision. My empathy goes out to that couple and how the rest of their lives will likely be forever changed.

How you know he wouldn't shoot you anyway? In this case, I'd assume the worst and go for the gun. frick it! If I meet my maker, I'd rather not have dick breath.
