The suspect, who police said has been identified as Cain, then ordered the woman to drive the car about four miles away to the parking lot of an abandoned school near Abundance and Press streets in the Desire neighborhood

Clearly this man had a terrible upbringing. My money is on the fact that the University he attended didn't do enough to make him feel accepted and appreciated. I'll even go so far as to say his safe space was violated at some point.
