Weird to see the enhanced line so close to the coast for this time of year. It’s not even spring yet.

Moisture advection North isn't great for this setup. It struggles to get dew points up even relatively close to the coast. Temps are going to struggle to reach 60° for much of the concerned area. What you have is the marine layer and ridiculous shear doing the work. Is there such a thing as a "No CAPE, high shear" setup?

That said, this could really go either way, a decent ceiling with a low floor. An interesting trend is the line breaking up a bit headed into MS and then having semi-discrete cells in the Mobile area. Rain showers spin down there, and those storms will have the chance to cause problems.

We’re supposed to get a bit of that up here in Louisville, but they’re thinking it could be snow or rain.

Those maps make me think we’re getting snow.

Interesting that the ENH was extended West. The HRRR is picking up on more there than it was yesterday when it had nothing in the way of CAPE. This is a tricky one.

Yeah, there just isn't enough moisture or instability up that way to warrant much more than a Marginal. This should be pretty confined to the coast.

There will be a 60-70 kt low level jet 2500 feet off the ground tomorrow. Some of that is going to mix down to the surface, especially as the squall line moves through.
