Yeah, I've seen some wild hodos for this one.

I think we may be done with the SPC westward expansion. CAPE is non-existent out that way. CAMs are zeroing in on a low CAPE really high shear setup from SE LA into the panhandle. Gonna be interesting to watch play out. That's a lot of spin with maybe just enough moisture. Mobile, yet again, could be in for another wild night.

Fml. It's always overnight when they come through the Mobile area. Do you think they're done upgrading the SPC?

Snowfall always seems harder to forecast.

That is for sure. I have been in NW Arkansas (1/2 mile from Missouri) for about two years. Each forecast for snow has been wrong.

I live 4 miles out from Missouri and the snow flurries predicted yesterday were a bust.

WTF does all this mean when translated into English?

Allow me to try and help.

He said divergence all across the region via terms 2 and 3 of the Ageostrophic Wind Equation produce Arrows (weather scientists shoot arrows?) of divergent flow from the ageostrophic, with positive vorticity advection. You're going to die.

Apparently, NW Arkansas will be getting TROWAL'd (Trolled?) which produces something called Dendritic Snow, different than regular, white snow.

He clarified by saying " I thought each caption was pretty easy to follow even for a laid person but I digest."

I didn't get laid last night creating a disadvantage to my understanding here, but am digesting my evening meal which might help.

"Hodograph went off the chart" obviously means he needs a bigger piece of paper for graphing a Hodograph, whatever that is.

Otherwise, I have no idea what he's talking about.

Hope that helps.

Wait a minute. I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night and can help.

Luther: " Ya member that year the crick frozad up and it snowed all the way up to the top of the wood pile?"

Jeb: "Mmmm, Yep."

Luther" "My knee is hurting, right where I fell down the hill against that rock. Might do that again tomorrw night."

Jeb: "That knee is neber wrong. I'll be sure to tell Bessy Jean to git out and lock the cow in the shed when I get home,"

I barely got my meteorology degree and have used it 0 since obtaining it so I will attempt to put this in common man terms.

God hates Louisiana. Storm big and scary. Arkansas get your parkas and snowshoes ready. Lafayette to Pensacola pucker your butts now. Port Oconner to Laffy and Pensacola to Tallahassee maybe pucker your butts.

Weird to see the enhanced line so close to the coast for this time of year. It’s not even spring yet.
