There are conservatively hundreds of posters here that would finance their old lady’s SUV or their f250 for 15 years as soon as available

$30k for health insurance is insane.

Trump, a true champion for the working man. 50 year home loans and 15 year car loans. He will push for laws making it mandatory half the interest on these loans go to Israel.
It’s been incredible to watch Trump just burn up all the good will he had within a year of being elected. Wtf is he doing

He had a somewhat stable group of advisers and cabinet in his first term and operated within the normal parameters of a Republican president. Now he’s blatantly beholden to donors and fringe idiots. The irony is if he had won in 2020 the leftists would probably be in power now and the second term would’ve been far better for everyone.

15 year auto is insane
Mortgage somewhat makes sense, especially for the lender, because the property will always exist.
Car loan makes no sense. Anyone taking out a loan that long isn't a qualified borrower and the vehicle will likely be in the junk yard before the balance is paid.

They are bringing more options to the market that no one is obligated to use but some of y’all will bitch about anything and everything.

Because government involving itself in things like this is not for the better.
Anyone can see this will drive up the prices for vehicles.
Only thing this does is help big banks

News flash: the government has been involved in shite for way too long anyways, at least they are finally working with private enterprise on something that can benefit those who need it.
Lot of free market conservatives sure hate the free market.

I don’t think the banks even want these. The default risk profile on these will be bananas. Idk how you even start to think about financing something for longer than it’s service life.

Aguendo the admin is actually "working" on 15y car loans:
What do you mean by pass? While it is possible that some states have limits on loan length there is no federal limit. This is something left up to lenders. I have watched average car loans creep up from 48 months to 72 months now with longer periods available. If they are working on it it is working with lenders to provide those loans. No matter what 180m loans will be expensive because at 10 years lenders will be holding paper on vehicles with over 150k miles that have almost no residual value.

There are cheap used cars out there. All this does is allow people to buy new cars at insane prices

How’s that shutdown working for the Dems tonight?

What never gets mentioned is the damage "cash for clunkers" did to the cheap used care market.
They took millions of cheap cars many buyers relied on away from the market which drove up prices.

He will probably make them all government backed like a student loan and the prices will triple.

If it wasn’t for Dems love of mass migration, Trump wouldn’t have won. He is largely a moron
