Congrats, your truck is about to be used to attempt to pull an ATM off its concrete base. Don't worry after they use it they will leave it, tow chain and all, near the ATM.

My truck got stolen off canal street in New Orleans.. Found it in a junk yard 3 days later. They even left me a half smoked joint that smelled like oil in the ashtray.

I dont know but I do know that in Houston was the only place MY truck was ever stolen. Found it one day before the insurance pay off and it was trashed with beer bottles and weed shake and seeds all over the seats and floorboard.

Unless they changed, no one was offering a one-way rental when I tried about 6 months ago. It doesn’t say that online but just says not available. Called and they told me that’s why.

Might want to find someone to come get you.

The metropolitan area of Houston is just under 10,000 square miles with a population of 6 million people. Sorry you parked in the wrong place.

there was not a single rental in the entire city of Houston.
So, really, the thief had no choice, with no rentals available.

Good news is that the thief is probably still stuck in Houston traffic

It's pretty simple to get into a vehicle with just a screwdriver and a wire coat hanger, if it's locked.

And if it isn’t locked?

If it makes you feel any better, my truck was stolen twice in 3 months from the West side of Houston (Energy Corridor). Both times sold on the Craigslist and found. First time, first buyer locked himself out of the car on the way back to Oklahoma while getting gas in Waller and Sheriff ran plates as unlocking, 2nd time tow truck company called me b/c new buyer got pulled over due to stolen plates. Both buyers had no recourse to reclaim money due to no information on seller. Geico really didn't believe me the 2nd time I called and filed claim, also both times truck was returned in under the 14 day window.
