re: Any good things to see/do driving from BR to Kansas City?
Posted by ItsBernie on 7/9/25 at 8:07 pm to 3BlockUber
Its a little out of the way but the thorncrown chapel is beautiful.
If you golf go to Big Cedar and there are several awesome courses there.
When you get to Kansas City there is a bunch of good restaurants. If you get a chance go to Scheels just south of KC. If you want to see the largest furniture store go to the Nebraska Furniture by Legends, on the kansas side by the Kansas Motor Speedway.
If you are looking for a scenic route you can go through Oklahoma, through Coffeyville, Ks and see more backroads but a good drive.

I have not had the top two on the list. I agree the other three are really good.
I see you always have a great bottle. What are your top 5 favorite favorites?

Not quite so fast (pun intended). The ferry was much north of Audubon, starting on the New Roads side coming off Ferry Road and running NNE across the river to near Bayou Sara under St. Francisville itsel
St Francisville historical group fought the bridge being built where the ferry crossed because they did not want to see it from the "historical" downtown.

Expense Report/Tracking app or software
Posted by ItsBernie on 4/30/25 at 8:58 pm
For those of you that have to track your business expenses. What app are y’all using? Trying to find something where I can take a pic of the receipt and catalog what it is for then see monthly and also yearly trends.

I had that DVD. It was a pretty good one.
I think I am going to give a 4 wood a try soon. Did you try any others before you settled on the Ping?

I do not know where you live but if around the Baton Rouge area buy whatever gumbo you like then bring it to Baton Rouge Packaging and Shipping on Coursey. They have the ice chest and dry ice there. I have used them to ship food many times around the country and I there has never been an issue with any of the shipments.

Same thing happened to me last year. At 52 I was backed into playing a game I never thought I would play. I had an old crappy set of clubs someone gave me. Best advise is take lessons, I took them from the start and it sure helped.
Be warned it will consume you. I am playing in a company event on Monday, golfing with customers tuesday and thursday. The following week 3 more days of golf. All work related.
Good luck and enjoy it.

Portable Projector recommendations
Posted by ItsBernie on 4/12/25 at 1:04 pm
I am looking for a portable projector to mainly use for work presentations, as well for outdoor events. Events are mainly in a tent. Trying not to spend more than $500 mainly because it will live on the road.
Thanks,
Thanks,
I keep my hunting stuff in one similar to this. But may be a little bigger. It is built really well and has taken a beaten. I have some of the ones in your pic as well, but really like the one with the better wheels.

I wish folks would stop using this argument. Water holes…if small enough, yes
I have done this several times over the years. And during certain times of the year there will be more hitting the feed. But when they are hitting scrapes there was 5 times the deer hitting scrapes and licking branches that never hit the feed. We would also get several bucks on the scrape that never went to the feed and we had never seen before.

I don't see a Diamana srt 6r shaft in the lineup to try and make a comparison.
Its a 60R, but it seems that they make this shaft for PXG.

Or you just could not reply by being an arse. It really isn't that hard, or maybe it is for you.
