So last night had dinner at Jimmy P's. The steak with potato au gratin were awesome.

Mario's for lunch today, got the meatball poboy and it was huge and dang good as well. Also got the marinated mozzarella balls, but haven't tried them yet.

Thanks for the recommendations.

I know you said you “have to” drive to Naples but I’d consider driving to Jackson or B’ham and asking Delta to get me there…

Well I don't think the 20' enclosed trailer is TSA approved. So driving it is!!!

Driving to Naples, Florida

I have a work trip and have to drive from Meridian, Ms to Naples, Fl. Are there any places that are must stops? Or restaurants that you just can't pass up?
No, Jim Sr is alive and well.

He was just given an award by LSU mens basketball for his contributions.
According to their facebook page it is going to be a 6800yd 18 hole.Supposedly going to reopen early fall of this year.
There is a map of their master plan on facebook. Complete remodel, making it a full 18 hole plus pickle ball courts. Seems to be trying to make if family friendly again.

I have a small mig, but you can not put a spool gun on it. Any recommendations on a welder to use for aluminum that is reasonably priced?
When did they start selling syrup again? Was in there a few weeks ago and they said they were no longer selling the syrup.

Need some recommendations for a camera to use for still photos and possibly some video for outdoors. Trying to stay around the $2500 range.
Its a little out of the way but the thorncrown chapel is beautiful.

If you golf go to Big Cedar and there are several awesome courses there.

When you get to Kansas City there is a bunch of good restaurants. If you get a chance go to Scheels just south of KC. If you want to see the largest furniture store go to the Nebraska Furniture by Legends, on the kansas side by the Kansas Motor Speedway.

If you are looking for a scenic route you can go through Oklahoma, through Coffeyville, Ks and see more backroads but a good drive.

I have not had the top two on the list. I agree the other three are really good.

I see you always have a great bottle. What are your top 5 favorite favorites?

Not quite so fast (pun intended). The ferry was much north of Audubon, starting on the New Roads side coming off Ferry Road and running NNE across the river to near Bayou Sara under St. Francisville itsel

St Francisville historical group fought the bridge being built where the ferry crossed because they did not want to see it from the "historical" downtown.
Just glad Perez isn't on the call today.
