It's always possible for this to get found out after a hire. A LSU basketball assistant falsified a resume and it wasn't found out until after he was hired.

This guy was hired as CAO of a municipality of hundreds of thousands of people. There is NO excuse for this. I'd be ashamed to apply to be an intern with a resume that included so many firings and multiple arrests, let alone get hired as CAO of a major parish.

I have helped numerous employers deal with the issue of an employee who intentionally falsified the employee's education on applications, resumes, etc.
I have never seen one that did not result in immediate termination.
In this case, I suspect they'll try to use the "he thought he graduated" excuse. Has anyone here checked his linked in to see if he lists his degree?
