Spot on. 2 problems with that:
1. She is incompetent and incapable of coming up with a workable plan.
B. A large contingency of NBR doesn't want to make it better, they just want SBR's tax dollars pissed away on stuff that does noone any good, just to see it pissed away.

Best you can likely hope for is zoning laws in regards to apt complexes. That is truly one of the bigger issues when it comes to section 8 anyway.

prediction: they will say that this is a shining example of how mayor Broome is not going to "play politics" and is serious about changing Baton Rouge, even if she has to admit a mistake along the way. probably have a quote about how they're going to try, try, and try again. not every attempt will work but dammit, we're not going to stop trying to fix BR for everyone.

the black Ivy League schools pop out some of the best (black) talent in the country. XULA, HU? Morehouse, spelman, Tuskegee, Hampton, etc
Can't tell you the amount of HBCU grads I know that ended up getting doctorates at elite PWI grad schools (tufts, UM, Harvard, etc)
