Trouble at the methadone clinic.

Ok. I NEVER knew what this place was but I take that road everyday to get to my job in the industriplex. It’s like they give away candy everyday there. I have never seen so many people there than I have in the past two weeks. Damn. First time I have seen cops there tho.

Pretty crazy that there's a massive gun warehouse next to a methadone clinic

We had a thread about this the other day when talking about LIpsey and his homeless statement or task force, or whatever it was.

I used to work shift work in the Industiplex and would get off at 6:00 am sometimes. The line would be to the street and a complete motley crew of people, some in dress clothes, some blue collar, some homeless, young, old etc.

I finally googled it to see what the hell i was and sure enough, a methadone clinic. This was in 2008 or so so it's been there a long time but not really talked about very much.

The prevailing thought in the other thread is that this plays a factor in the number of panhandlers in the area. Makes sense. That and cheap hotels and plenty of shoppers. Seems ripe for panhandlers.

They start lining up at 4 am most places plus most of the clinics I called on (sales) always had some baws working security big baws healthy baws not Paul blart types. I would imagine someone might have gotten roughed up. Sounds fishy dropping off a 2nd person.
Need to pull ever 10th person out of line Jam 3-4 grams of psilocybin down their gullet stock them in a padded room see how it works out.

I passed by this morning at 6:20 wondering why the hell they had every fire truck in BR out front the Kentwood Water building. Certainly that fire would put itself out. I had no idea there was a Methadone Clinic there too.

Is Methadone the new Oxy? Has Clegget, the clinic owner from "The Pharmacist", opened shop in Baton Rouge? She did relocate to Baton Rouge.
