I'm of the belief that people who troll are real life losers.

I saw a coyote running across our neighborhood. I posted on NextDoor and it only took about 6 replies before it got vicious and political

I also posted one asking who stole the Trump 2020 sign out of my yard. That one was fun until it got whacked

That's got me crying. We have one on ours named Dick Pickleson.

And the U Club vs. The middle-class on Bluebonnet lake wars are epic.

They freaked the frick out when I suggest to sue the guy that won’t remove his large garbage from the curb.

Keeping that shite out there for weeks just looks trashy.

Our area had a lost tropical bird that had people soooo concerned. Random people would check in for days, frantic for any update on that poor bird.

The coyote/cat thing had south Shreveport in a tizzy for a while. There was talk of calling the police, trappers, somebody! Someone pointed out that the coyotes were there before the homes and all along; folks just didn't see them until they all got surveillance cameras.

Someone asked about an odd sticker on their mailbox post. Speculation swirled for days about it being marking for future crimes and lawd knows what gang-related activity. Then someone explained that the paperman uses them to mark where to throw the newspaper.

Right now, a lady has a tree full of limes she wants to give away before the freeze. Judging from the scores of responses--perhaps a record number--folks in the area are suffering from scurvy and in desperate need of free citrus.

ETA: If you need a notary, ask on there. Several dozen will chime in. There must be six on every block.

They give a lot of prayers for people, cats, dogs.

And whoever owns the black mustang or maybe purple Camaro off Hoo Shoo Too is a dick and needs to slow down or they are putting speed bumps in.

And Matt Morris got in a thread about house construction and got roasted for a week until it got whacked.

"Mona Lott" here. God next door trolling is like shooting fish in a barrel. It was easier when I lived in North Atlanta. Alabama just doesn't have as much going on.

Our next door app is used by stay at home moms and retirees who kidnap animals. If it’s within 100 yds of their property line that animals face will appear on the app as an animal on the loose.

This is one of my favorite things to do

The stay at homes and old folks have absolutely nothing to do so they bitch and moan on next door and it’s just too easy to mess with them.

Here in Nola mine is peppered with car burglaries, package thefts, and the occasional "scary black man knocked on my door last night".

It's actually useful though because they'll post pictures and videos from their security cameras.

Recently one guy walked up on someone's porch in the middle of the night with a creepy mask on peering in the windows.

Oh the pleasures of Nola.

I watched a couple of them a few years back. The ladies were attractive enough, but the dude has this annoying arse voice and he wouldn't shut the hell up. Total boner killer. The Casting Couch series is way better.

From my neighborhood blog this week; long before "nextdoor" came along.

"A recent letter from an anonymous "neighbor" urged residents to join nextdoor.com. Neither the letter nor the website are associated with (my neighborhood assoc. name) . Residents who have joined in response to past letters urging them to do so have had numerous problems with their email address being sold and a terrific increase in spam."

Response --- OMG! WOW!
