I was finally down to no veggies so I had to go to Sprouts. I live in 70817.- St George. I could have ridden my bike up there. No one was on the road at 8 am. Nearly everyone in store had on a mask-- which by the way are HOT. I thought I was going to suffocate. Stopped at Calandro's, not protecting workers and prices sky-high. I never go in there, not sure how anyone can buy food in there. A dozen eggs were $6.00. I decided to do without eggs and took my butt home.

Anyone else went to any other store? I avoided Walmart because I did not want to stand in line to shop.

Calvin's is my go-to and their prices have remained low.

Went to whole foods for some bacon though and you should see all the freaks in there wearing masks.

Maybe so, but if you keep buying $6.00 cartons of eggs, you will not be well to do for very long.

Plus, any store that does not protect it's workers right now, should not have anyone's business.

I was just at Whole Foods on Magazine and I think I was the only person that was not wearing something on their face.

My Dad told me Carter’s in Denham had 6.00 eggs as well
It’s not a high class store

Try Instacart. You can order from Albertsons and have it delivered. It only costs a few bucks. Their projected delivery right now is tomorrow.

I honestly have no idea how much eggs cost, pre or post pandemic.

Albertson's on Perkins/ESSEN is never crowded & prices are still regular: a carton of 3 eggs is $1.79. Debit card machines are protected & there are workers spraying & cleaning all over the store. Masks on customers 50/50%.

I don’t really understand why eggs are more expensive right now, but I’d have to make a lot of omelets before 50¢ eggs made a significant impact on my net worth.

Not at the store by me but I'm sure it's all of them in our area.

Go figure, in Louisiana where you can buy whiskey at a gas station.
