Travelling the USA, via plane, with weed/edibles

How do you do it? Guessing edibles easier to travel with
Only put them in the check on and not carry on?
Do they even check for weed anymore? Just looking for hard drugs, bombs etc?
Do you need to put edibles in a different container? Like kids chewable vitamins?
For buds do you need to wrap them for drug sniffing dogs? Triple wrap etc?
What do you guys do? Have you been searched before? If they found it did they throw it away or look the other way?
Asking for my grandma.

Was listening to a podcast with the Workaholics guys from a few months ago, This is Important. Adam Devine was traveling to South Carolina to film the Righteous Gemstones. He was asking the guys if would be ok to fly to SC with a shite load of edibles/weed. Obviously people do it all the time. Didn't know if it is more lax now than it was 20 years ago.

I doubt they are searching for it but you’re taking a risk of them searching your bag and finding it. Then they may be required to report. Kids vitamin route should hide it even if they do search your carry on or your check bag.

I’ve flown with weed , wax , edibles alway in carry on. Number one rule is don’t get too greedy. If you don’t break the number one rule you should be fine.

I’m telling you from experience:
1. Edibles or chocolate can be easily put in an open container of any other chocolate or candy. Frankly the TSA doesn’t care
2. Flower can be put in any bottle of pills such as Tylenol, Advil, etc. again, the TSA doesn’t care.
That’s all there is to it.
