Are the worst so fricken hot and then the facktsrds of the events won't let you bring in a cooler. The field is hotter than the air. So I'm sposed to pay 3 dollars for a small bottle of water, 10 dollars to get in the game, and then not only that you don't have anyone to grill a hamburger.

Travel ball is on another level of trashy. I truly feel sorry for all the kids. The best part of post game is taking your cleats off and walking around on the soft perfectly maintained grass that isn't 4000 degrees.

My 8 year old had to play 4 fricking games in that shite Saturday. We were spraying her down with cool water and made her slam water down the hatch in between innings. She was crying about being hot and tired halfway through the third game. We had to sit in the vehicle with the AC on between games just to avoid anything more severe.

We snuck a cooler of water and Gatorade in under some towels. frick those shysters.

I’m glad she’s gonna be too old for her team next year so I can get her into a sport that is run by people with some sense.

How the hell do you expect to pay for these facilities to ensure little Braydynn has the best chance to make the Varsity team come Fall!?!? This shite don't pay for itself!!

One of the coaches had a "Turf Tec" device at our tournament, the field was 149 degrees at 3 pm

Why would any 8 year old play more then 2 games in 1 day also you said "had to" you chose to let her. The fact that not just you but any parent allowed there kids to play 4 games in 100+ heat is fricking retarded.
Yes I'm calling you a tard and you need to reevaluate your parenting.

travel ball is the worst thing ever created for kids sports.

Thank God my kid just aged out of that garbage.

ETA: I could provide a laundry list of what is bad about travel ball, starting with how moronic almost all of the coaches are.

All so Jaxson and Braxtyn can realize their dreams of playing nothing higher than High School Baseball!

Travel ball is all about getting as much of your money as possible. A kid having a heat stroke is just the cost of doing business

She begged us to keep letting her play and that she’d tell us if she got dizzy. I tried to pull her after the second game.

Also go frick yourself and your opinion.

If I knew it was gonna be that hot I would have taken my laser thermometer. It felt like I was back in my college days tossing pizzas. The wind would change direction and blow in our face and it felt just like opening a 700 degree pizza oven.

backpack cooler. dry frozen pack to keep cold. Literally nobody stops backpack coolers from going in. Your kid should have one of them big 64 oz jugs already.

Just got back from a HS aged soccer event in Frisco, TX. Kids only had to play 1 game a day, no charge for parking or entrance fees, could bring in full coolers without issue.

I thought making them play on turf at noon was crazy, but after reading the above seems like we had a much better deal than I thought

Besides the heat. The little mother frickers can’t field a ball on a traditional grass field because they don’t get the true turf SUNDAY hop.
