I was challenging Kaleb as a biblical name (Caleb) so I had to look it up.
So Kaleb is a great travel ball name since he's a 'dog' (tough, relentless) on the field.

Caleb is a biblical name of Hebrew origin. He is one of the people chosen by God to lead the people into the land of Canaan with Moses. The name Caleb is from the Hebrew word 'Kaleb' which literally translates to 'dog'.

Although fictional, the Brooks from the book/movie was born in the 1800s. I was pointing out it being a really old name

The series he had in 1970 against the Reds. Bastard played the best defense at third I’ve ever seen. MVP of the series.

Not legit if they aren’t filming the AB.

It was pretty interesting to see which names didn't appear as much as I expected.
For example, Steven was a very popular name for boys about 30-40 years ago, and I don't think there was a single Steven on any of the 14 teams. Some names like Michael and John stay popular over time, while other names ebb and flow.
I'll admit I included some borderline ones here, like Aidan, Brooks, Cade, and Davis. But everyone I personally know with that name is a baw, and most of them played travel ball.
Those are at least real names. The names like Kason, Javen, and Randon are what really stand out. I would legally change my name as soon as possible if my parents gave me a silly name like that.

Let me quickly run this by y’all, growing up I recognized an overwhelming trend of new parents naming their kids Hunter and Dakota. Did that quickly get replaced by travel ball names?

I think Banks is a good travel ball name, maybe the next Braydon
