Dogs Attack Statistics by Breed
An estimated 850,000 people require medical attention each year due to dog bites. The following seven breeds are believed to be the most aggressive and biting breeds:
Pit bulls,
Rottweilers,
German Shepherds,
American Bulldogs,
Mastiffs,
Siberian Huskies, and
Presa Canarios.
Each breed has a different number of attacks and fatalities, depending on the source. Numerous dog assaults go unreported. However, the majority of statistics concur that these are the most dangerous breeds.

Dogs Attack Statistics by Breed

This really is a tragic story. A 7 year old kid. Like anything else, if you are going to own something you have to take the appropriate responsibility.
Do I think every pitbull is bad? No, but I do know if you get one from a shelter is was likely bred to fight. They are also very strong so I don't care how sweet one might be, like any dog... or human, it just take that one thing to cause it to snap.
When kids play with dogs, a lot of times they are rougher than they realize and could do something on accident and if the dog think it has to protect itself, if its a pitbull, because of its strength and aggressiveness its going to do some damage.

The interview on WBRZ with neighbors said there was a dogfight and the property (shitty trailer park) and the girl got in the middle

I admit I didn't read the entire article, but Jesus Christ. When they say dog fight, was it two dogs just going at it, or were people fighting dogs? Either way, that is horrible. That poor girl didn't have a chance.

Sorry to derail the thread but I hope that is an old picture.
This woman is a civilian and has about as much business with a sidearm on as the news reporter. I doubt she has even qualified with said pistol.
She committed DUI a few years ago and gets to keep her sweet gig because she is pretty. Maybe she is related to someone or is screwing the right people.
