saw one hovering outside my backyard window today in BR...didn't know they hung around in this cold...started to rehang my feeder, but remembered it would likely freeze
I've got one I planted in 2007....it's now about 20' high by 15' across, so too big to cover...i've got C7 lights strung thru it and some halogen clamp lights in the middle....I also pile mulch around the trunk where it enters the ground to about 2 feet high

not sure if any of that helps, but I made it thru the last few years of hard freezes here in BR....only lost one low limb

I had a bumper crop of over 1500 satumas off that one tree about 5 years ago

and again....
might find some good info here

AGCO

Yep, keeps popping up and it's usually by people that do not understand AI.

Here's a great analogy.

Good "coders" are basically Tony Stark
AI is the iron man suit

Tony by himself can get a lot done.
Iron man suit by itself kind of sucks.
Tony + iron man suit = gets a lot of shite done

Good coders are going no where. Offshore button clickers are.

but the problem is now you only need 1 Tony Stark to replace what previously was 5

the "code" in the main guidance computer was in about 36k of read only core memory

the source code is available on Github:
Apollo 11 Source Code

and has been poured over by hundreds if not thousand of programmers

you can even find the "Burn Baby, Burn" named master ignition routine here:

Burn Baby Burn

You can also download a Virtual AGC emulator and run the actual code on your own computer from here: Virtual AGC

Only had 1 and never saw it.

I'm not, nor have ever been much of a golfer (never broken 80), but I was playing by myself at City Park in BR one Saturday. Got to the 8th hole (blind uphill ~200 yd par 3) and realized the LSU basketball game I was going to was just about to start so decided I'd just quit after this hole and head out

quickly threw down a ball and pulled my 3 iron (which, like most golfers I've NEVER hit worth a damn) took a quick and relaxed "don't give a shite" swing and hit the purest 3 I've ever hit...watched the ball go up the hill and disappear over the rise, never leaving the top of the flag stick (which was all I could see)....I thought , "Damn that's got to be on the green" (which is a rarity for me)....felt so good I dropped another ball and proceeded to skull a low "stinger" that never got more than 10 feet off the ground

grabbed my pull cart and hurried up the hill to see where the first one was and there was my ball about 6 feet short of pin...knew it was good.

started looking for my second one, but couldn't find it...walked behind the green thinking it surely ran long but no ball....group teeing off on #9 tee box saw me and said why are you looking over there, it hit the flag and is in the hole

walked to the hole and sure enough, my second ball was in the cup

caught up to the group ahead in the clubhouse after and they witnessed for me

predictably, I've never had another one

agree...always seems to run up to earnings, then drop a decent amount at earnings announcement then hype builds back up...
i'll ask you again, which "people"
