Time to start charging these owners with negligent homicide.
Girl, 7, dies after dog attack on Kendalwood Road, Baton Rouge sheriff says
A child is dead after she was attacked by a dog Friday evening, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office said.
EBRSO spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks said EMS and the St. George Fire Department were called to a home in the 25000 block of Kendalwood Road shortly after 6:30 p.m.
A 7-year-old girl was transported to a hospital in critical condition but later died, Hicks said.
"This is an awful, heart-breaking tragedy," Sheriff Sid Gautreaux said. "My heart goes out to this family, and they will remain in my prayers."
EBRSO is investigating the case. Hicks said Animal Control was notified and has the dog in custody.
No other information was available.

pitbulls and their owners who defend them are the absolute scum of the earth.

Another win for the anti St George chodes. One less future potential taxpayer for the leeches to blame

Chicken actually changed your Username. Legit.
Pitbulls are bred to kill hogs. No amount of training is going to mask that given the correct external stimuli. Never let your guard down around them.

Why isn’t the dog in the ground?

The dog belongs to the girl's parents?

They have to observe the dog for one week and then test for rabies. If they kill it right after the attack, they will have to send the dog's severed head to the state vet for testing.
They don't like doing that.

Not a bad theory

I don't see breed in there. Is this like when they give height weight and clothes of a suspect but not skin color?

Trashy fricks from the trailer parks and the ghettos breed these things.
Baby mamas with kids from several babydaddys develop a bizarre sort of fetish by owning pit bulls (or other dogs bred to kill things) because they “don’t need no man” they got the hook up from the state with all the welfare, have child support for multiple kids coming in, and have a deadly arse husky dog bouncing around the house waiting to attack someone. Then she’ll say “my dog never hurt a hair on any of my babies heads!! It’s the way they are raised!!!”
Kill em. All of them. I don’t care. Kill em.

People say drowning is a horrible way to go but I’ll have to say this is right there with it. I can’t imagine that child’s fear upon being attacked. Breaks my heart. Prayers for the family.
